About Global Change
Global Change is our flagship training programme on effective campaigning for global justice. The training is designed to provide participants with tools, methods and actual experience in mobilising the public and putting decisive pressure on decision makers.
Our goal is to empower youths with the means to address the root causes to structural inequality and poverty and become drivers of social and political change.
A principle element in our training programme is the 'Public Action Learning' module which essentially allows participants to develop and manage an actual campaign of their own in close cooperation with ActionAid. We believe that the most effective way of learning is by 'doing'. Participants will recieve guidence and support from ActionAid throughout the entire campaign. As our training also consists of weekly workshops and lectures, participants will be fully equipped with tools and knowledge once the actual campaigning begins.
The Global Change course takes place at regional platforms in El Salvador, Nepal and Tanzania and is an international course that will host participants of different nationalities

- while carrying out a large scale campaign, aligned with national ActionAid offices, to affect social change, building upon participatory methods and the concept of learning by doing.
